Rocking the man bun, Corpus Christi King (TX) junior Parker Scott, dropped the hammer in the final 100 meters of his Texas 6A Region 4 race in the 800 meter run on Saturday in San Antonio. Having only run 1:57 prior this season, King went from near the back of the field at the start of the final lap to grabbing the win with a PR by several seconds at 1:53.86 to move onto the Texas State Championships in two weeks.
