Devin Clark, a senior from Smithson Valley High School in New Braunfels, completed a strong distance double in her Texas regional on Friday and Saturday in San Antonio. She won the 3200 on day one in a state leading US #7 time of 10:18.37 followed by coming back to break another meet record (her own) on day two in the 1600 with a US #7 4:45.91 victory.
Both personal bests for the University of Arkansas commit and gives her plenty of confidence in two weeks to go for Texas 6A state titles in both events at the University of Texas for the UIL State Championships.
