With the departure of last year's champion to 4A, 3A is guaranteed a new team state champion this year. So, who's in the driver's seat to claim that honor?
The first thing you might want to do to answer that question is to check in on the latest version of the 3A Girls Virtual Meet. I've linked it here in this paragraph as it was proving to be a little unwieldy in the article itself, And, the nice thing about the link is that it updates automatically when new results come it, but the static version of the virtual meet copied into an article does not.
You probably came to a very similar conclusion when you looked at the results of the virtual meet--there are four teams in the hunt in a serious sort of way. There are certainly other good, solid teams in 3A, but only four appear to combine the depth and top-end talent necessary to make a serious title run.
