Jesse Reiser is looking to make a return trip to Portland to compete at the Nike Cross Nationals (13th in last year's race), but first the recent University of Illinois signee will need to get past a quality field of individuals and leading runners on top teams in the NXN Midwest Regional on Sunday in Terre Haute, Indiana. Reiser leads a strong group of individuals from his state including future college teammate Zach Dale.
The Illinois state champ and sub 9 minute two miler Reiser will get virtually the best from each of the Midwest states with the exception of no Grant Fisher of Michigan, but will have a returning Foot Locker finalist from the state in Michael Robinson of Waterford Mott in the race with his squad.
