We've already dropped a hint or two that Peak to Peak could be a big problem for the rest of 3A next fall, but let's explore that idea in greater detail now.

First, it should be affirmed that being a good, solid team is nothing new for Peak to Peak. The Pumas have not yet won a state title, but they've consistently been among the better teams in 3A girls for several years running.

Peak to Peak takes a pretty serious hit to graduation with Dallas Frisbie moving on, but they just may be able to take the hit and still come back as a better team next fall, anyway. Let's take a look at the reasons why.

The first reason is Alice Oveson, who has now put together back-to-back solid years in cross country. A time or two this fall, she was even the top finisher for the Pumas. Her strength and experience should be a big deal for Peak to Peak next fall a...
