A list of the top 50 fastest boys teams in the NXN Northwest Region states based on scoring the 5K season best performances in the MileSplit database (as of November 13th) of the top 5 runners from each team as a projected XC team scored meet.
What was a state battleground event last weekend at the Washington State Meet is now moving to the regional level and potential to the national stage with the North Central and Kamiakin boys cross country teams. Kamiakin at the start and mid-season appeared to be the better team, but the North Central boys showed why they deserved a preseason top 10 ranking in winning their 9th straight Washington 3A state title last weekend over Kamiakin.
Expect another close scoring between the two with every position counting. Kamiakin will likely have to concede the #1 spot to defending NXN Northwest Regional champ Tanner Anderson, but will need to win battles against North Central in spots #2 through #5. Each squad ...
