Alamosa came in as a surprise winner this year. And, as difficult as it is for a Moose, Mean or otherwise, to sneak up on anyone, it will be even more difficult next year. Alamosa did manage to sneak up on folks this year, but figure that's a once-in-a-lifetime experience for this crew.
Cleary, Alamosa has the pieces to get it done again next year. Only Brianna Corona graduates off of this year's team. And, stepping up from the middle school figures to be Meghan Cody, so Alamosa looks to have a strong likelihood of going strong at least seven deep again next year. Cody figures to join state veterans in Paige DeGolyer, Emily and Tara Sowards, Brittany Lopez, Brianna Carson, and Isabelle ter Kuile-Miller.
