While Leon High senior Sukhi Khosla may have felt disappointed with the lack of competition from his individual race, the same can't be said towards the team battle brewing in Class 3A.

On a humid 68 degree morning at Apalachee Regional Park, Khosla posted his second consecutive pre-state 14:59 win at Saturday's FSU Invitational. But the Lions were nipped by local Tallahassee rival Chiles High, 94 to 96, in the 7:40 a.m. boys elite race.
