After a strong third place finish at Woodbridge two weekends ago, the US #12 Saugus girls of California traveled to Minneapolis, Minnesota and defeated the US #3 ranked Wayzata girls at the Roy Griak Invitational on Saturday by a significant margin of 82 points. After being the top program for so many years in Cali and then being knocked off last year by Sarah Baxter and the Simi Valley girls, this year's Saugus squad aims to challenge Great Oak at season's end for state supremacy.
