The girls sweepstakes race at the Woodbridge Classic will be loaded with four national class runners in Destiny Collins (Great Oak CA), Marissa Williams (Palisades CA), Dani Jones (Desert Vista CA), and Samantha Ortega (Sauguas CA). Last year's race was won the great but graduated Sarah Baxter, while Williams finished second in 16:20 and Collins was third in 16:28 on the Woodbridge 3 mile course. Collins, Jones, and Ortega are all leading US top 12 ranked teams into the meet as well. Plenty of national implications in Irvine, California on the third Saturday night of September.
