Tanner Anderson was 5 seconds faster than the 2013 winning time at the Tracy Walters Invitational on Saturday in Washington. John Dressel won the race last year in 15:00 and went onto a runner-up finish at Foot Locker Nationals. With a 14:55 3 mile victory to start his senior year of cross country, Anderson is hoping to be the second straight North Central (WA) runner to win a Nike Cross Nationals individual title and follow in footsteps of graduated teammate Kai Wilmot.
