The first program of its kind to identify, recognize and award the future stars and faces of the sport, Hoka One One and MileSplit will showcase the best underclassmen runners of high school cross country this fall. Over the next few months of the season, MileSplit will be the place to find athlete features and race highlights featuring the top performing 9th and 10th graders throughout the nation.
At the end of the season, MileSplit will select 21 freshmen boys, 21 freshmen girls, 21 sophomore boys, and 21 sophomore girls as part of the 2014 Hoka One One Future Stars cross country team. The honors will go to seven runners each on the first, second, and third teams who will be distinguished as the very best in the United States ranked among their underclassmen peers.
Tomorrow's national champions, All-Americans, and state champions start here. Let the rise of those future stars begin!
