Stephanie Jenks recorded a US#2 in the 3K beating Katie Flood's State Record.

- Stephanie Jenks (Linn-Mar) topped Katie Flood's Iowa State Record in the 3K, running a US#2 9:24.67. Flood, an NCAA Champion, previously had the record with a 9:27 set back in 2010. Her time is second only to Alexa Efraimson who came through the 3K ar Arcadia in a nation leading 9:23.
- Thomas Pollard (Gilbert) ran a new Iowa All-Time Record of 8:50.43 in the 3200m. The previous record was nearly 30 years old. In total, four guys broke 9:02 in the 3200m. Pollard sits behind Blake Haney who ran 8:46 at the Arcadia Invitational.
- New US#1s were recorded in the Sprint Medley Relay. On the boy's side Linn-Mar ran a state meet record of 3:24.39. The girls from Pleasant Valley broke the state All-Time record, going under 4:00 with a 3:57.59 clocking.
