Curtis Thompson, a senior from Florence Township in New Jersey, unloaded a personal best and US #2 throw in the javelin at the Burlington County Open meet on Saturday of 222 feet and 8 inches. The Penn Relays runner-up in the javelin last month with his previous PR mark of 220'5", Thompson really broke through at the end of last outdoor season with a third place finish at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor and has been consistent with performances over 200 feet this spring.
