Oklahoma 5A/6A State Meet: Tommy Dial 17-1 PV, Tyler Jackson 46.99 400

Tommy Dial, a junior and US #3 ranked pole vaulter from Jenks High School, cleared 17'1" at the Oklahoma 5A/6A State Championship meet this weekend in Yukon, Oklahoma. Dial had achieved a new personal best height of 17'1.50" last month in the pole vault at the Kansas Relays and nearly matched his all-time best performance at the Oklahoma state meet for 5A and 6A schools on Saturday.
