The Woodlands (TX) senior distance runner Madi McLellan appears that she was chomping at the bits to get going with her final outdoor season of high school track. Already in the first two weeks of her outdoor season, McLellan has posted early season US #1 times in the 1600 from her 4:56.74 race at the Kingwood Zoe Simpson Invite two weeks ago and this past weekend running only seconds off her 3200 PR at the her school's home invitational with a 10:27.60 performance.
