There are plenty of familiar teams, plus an occasional team we're not as accustomed to hearing from, as we look ahead to next cross country season. Here's how the various classifications break down:

2A

Believe it or not, Lyons does graduate someone off their perfect-scoring state team from this year. It just doesn't appear that it is going to make a whole lot of difference. Nevertheless, the roster of returning runners up and down the ranks of 2A suggests yet another year of increasing quality within the classification. There is a great number of 2A teams that could easily score deeper than three runners.
