The 3A Metro League loses one and gains one for 2014. And both transfers are of the high-profile variety. Gone is perennial power Holy Family. Just arrived is a school that looks to have the makings of a new perennial league power--SkyView Academy.
As we scan down the list of top returners and their teams, it's not going to come as a surprise to anyone that Peak to Peak figures--at least for now--as 2014's top team in the league. The Pumas keep graduating guys and forcing followers of cross country to learn new names, but is does seem to be a high-diameter pipeline that Coach Hansen has working in his favor. Top guys for 2014 appear to be Calvin Riss, Isaac Ruble, and Alex Mowery. Each return with sub-18 credentials.
