Within the ranks of 3A girls, the Tri-Peaks League needs no introduction. This league is the launching pad for Salida--the team of most freshmen and sophomores that dominated the season from start to finish.
Nothing about that appears ready to change for next year. With the franchise back, and provided they're able to handle their own success, Salida figures to dominate the league and the classification again next year. Between Fesenmeyer, Ceglowski, Lowe, Powell, and Beasley (and more!), there are more than enough capable hands on this team to keep the thing going. That a small 3A school can do this much damage in a cross country race simply staggers the imagination.
Second rung on the Tri-Peaks ladder could get interesting, however. Vanguard comes up from 2A and they do have the runners...
