The same disclaimer that applied with the 3200 times applies here--TCA will not be running 3A cross country this fall but they show up here because they ran 3A track in the spring.
Although the 1600 meter distance is farther from the cross country distance than 3200 meters, you see below a much fuller accounting of competitive teams. Frankly, most teams run more athletes at 1600 meters than at 3200 meters in track.
In 2A Hotchkiss shows a little more of its strength as Jennifer Celis, who never ran the 3200, does show up in the 1600 rankings. We still do not see Sophia Schelle in the 1600 rankings, however. Lyons and Paonia are also well represented, but the entries begin to lost contact with the top shortly after that.
For 3A, figure Frontier Academy and Peak to Peak as a near dead heat. Holy Family is the only other team remotely in contention at 1...
