- Kendell Williams, GA, won the junior Heptathlon with a strong showing in the final events with a score of 5481.
- Trayvon Bromell, FL, won the junior 100m with a quick 10.47 with a -4.8 wind. Tevin Hester was 2nd in 10.53 and Cameron Burrell was 3rd in 10.65.
- Wolf Mahler, TX, won the junior Decathlon with a solid score of 7419 points!
Wednesday Highlights
- Kendell Williams, GA, leads the Heptathlon competition with 3478 points after 4 events. Her highlight was a 13.35 clocking in the 100H, a junior women's heptathlon record for the event.

- Mary Cain makes her first World Championship team with a tactical kick in 4:28.76! Cain was 2nd, but lead with just 30 meters to go!
- Mary Cain, NY, has made the final of the women's 1500m run, clocking the 2nd fastest time of 4:11.48. Training partner Trenier Moser was the fastest qualifier with a time of 4:11.20. Shannon Rowbury and Morgan Uceny are also through to the final.
