COROS MileSplit50 Preseason Girls Team XC Rankings

No. 20: Jesuit Portland (OR)

- - -

Analysis: The no.10 ranked returning team by 5K average this season, the Jesuit Portland girls will look to follow up a remarkable 2023 season which saw them win the OSAA 6A State Team title, finish 2nd at the NXR Northwest Regional and finish 15th out of 22 teams at Nike Cross Nationals. They are led by the state champion in Emma Bennett who owns a 5K PR of 17:08 and a 46th-place finish at NXN last fall.

They only return four of their top runners this season, but with their team depth, they do return a 18:10 5K average for their top runners, and a whopping nine runners who have run under 19:30. Given the top-tier talent and depth, they should again compete for a state title and another berth to NXN.
