6. Peyton Sippy, Janesville Craig (WI)
Sippy took home the Division 1 championship in Wisconsin to hand Wisconsin's super freshman Kate Sperka her only defeat of the season, and Sippy did so in a career best time of 18:01. The senior has been enjoying, by far, the best season of her high school career, finishing in the top three of all her races and winning all but three of them.
Furthermore, she grew much stronger as the season wore on, as her three fastest races of the season were her three most recent. However, considering the fact that she does have a number of losses to multiple runners, and also simply not having the types of times comparable to the region's favorites, Sippy may have an uphill climb to claim a qualifying bit.
Nevertheless, she'll certainly be near the front of the pack.
