2023 Notable XC Finishes: 3rd at the Ocean State XC Invitational, 1st at the MSTCA Bob Glennon Twilight Invitational, 3rd at the MIAA All-State Championships, 8th at the Foot Locker Northeast Regional, and 30th at Foot Locker Nationals.
Analysis: It was a short but sweet 2023 season for Graffeo in Massachusetts, one that saw him rise from a great runner to an elite performer. Graffeo got off to a hot start with a 3rd place finish at the Ocean State XC Invitational, then went on to run a new PR of 14:57.66 at the MSTCA Bob Glennon Twilight Invitational. From there he finished 3rd at the All-State Championships before finishing 8th at the Foot Locker Northeast Regional and 30th at Foot Locker Nationals.
Graffeo elevated his profile even higher with a strong track and field season which saw him compete at the MIAA Meet of Champions where he finished 2nd in the 2-mile (8:52.76) and 3rd in the 1600m (4:09.80), before going on to finish 2nd in the 2-mile at New Balance Nationals Outdoor with a time of 8:52.67.
