It was a big week for a major Ohio performance.

Grabbing top honors for National Performer of the Week was Pickerington Central senior Matthew Scrape.

The Syracuse signee earned over 50-percent of the voting after scoring a big win in the 3200m at Ohio's state championships, finishing in 9:02.01.

Scrape deserves a big shout out for the effort and to his continued success.

Elijah Claiborne, Northport: Earned the reputable double at New York's state championships, going 1:52.33 in the 800m and 4:10.01 in the 1600m 44.96% (125 votes)
Cole Sprout: While he didn't win the 2-mile, he forged a new sophomore class record in 8:49.46 and finished second at Brooks PR 23.02% (64 votes)
Brodey Hasty, Brentwood (TN): From seventh in the Brooks PR 800m in 1:52.98 -- a personal best -- to a major US no. 1 in the 1500m of 3:43.77, US No. 15 all-time and 4:01.6 converted mile 11.51% (32 votes)
James Mwaura, Portland Lincoln (WA): The Gonzaga recruit is an absolutely beast and put down his fourth time under 9 minutes in the 3200m or 2-mile at Brooks PR, winning in 8:48.76 8.63% (24 votes)
Mario Heslop, Franklin (NJ): Had an epic meet at the Meet of Champions, going 10.66 in the 100m and 47.05 in 400m to secure the double; he also anchored his team's second-place bid in the 4x400 in a sizzling 45-point split 7.19% (20 votes)
Khalid Hussein, Wayzata (MN): Battled with Max Manley throughout Minnesota's state title races in the 1600m and 3200m, coming away with two first-place nods in 4:13.30 and 9:07.88 2.16% (6 votes)
Cayden Spencer-Thomas, Mattanawcook Academy (ME): Won two titles and set two state records in the LJ and TJ at Maine's state championships, producing marks of 24-1.25 (LJ) and 48-3.75 (TJ) 1.8% (5 votes)
