University of Kentucky recruit Kaitlyn Lacy made sure this race never got away from her.
In the end, she struck at just the right time, gearing up in the final 100m to pass Kathleen Simms in the final stretches on Friday in the elite girls 3200m at the Eastern Relays. She finished in a US No. 25 time of 10:33.62.
