We joined the Great Oak boys and girls squads earlier this season for one of their hill repeat workouts. The workout was on a Monday evening after a long run the week of the Woodbridge Cross Country Invitational.
The Great Oak girls are ranked Flo50 No. 3 while the guys are ranked Flo50 No. 2. Both varsity squads are coming off wins at the Clovis Invitational a few weekends ago and looking to continue their success this weekend at the Mt. SAC Invitational.

The Warmup:
Jog two laps of athletic fields (approx. 800m)
Leg Swings
Drills/ Speed ladders and form work
"Hit" - Combination of jogging mixed with all-out sprints for a specific amount of time.
Core
The Workout:
1-mile warmup to the hills
10 for varsity seven for freshmen
1-mile cool down back to campus
