Analysis: Culbreath had an impeccable freshman season, winning the District 14 meet in 17:48.54, the Region 2 meet in 17:50.89, and the UIL Class 5A state meet in 17:06.72 before nabbing another win at NXN South in 17:33.80. She was 12th at NXN and scored a season PB of 16:48.59 at McNeill. In the spring, Culbreath added another state win in the 1600m (4:55.06) and the 3200m (10:13.68). She also ran a season PB in the 2-mile at Brooks PR in 10:04.73.
