Year: Junior, Class of 2019

School: Peak to Peak Charter School, CO

Analysis: McConnell was 17th at NXN, fifth at NXN Southwest, and finished second at the Colorado state XC championships. She posted a season PB of 17:12.90 at the Desert Twilight XC Festival, finishing just behind Arizona standout Allie Schadler, and also had four times under 18 minutes, many of which were at elevation. 

McConnell's track season consisted of quality performances at the state championships, where she finished second in the 800m and 1600m. She was sixth at the Brooks PR 1-mile run, posting a season best 4:50.33.
