Freshman Lexy Halladay toed the line with some of the best in the country last night at the adidas Boost Boston Games in Somerville, MA. The lone freshman would go on to shock the nation as she would out kick some of the best runners in 2017 in NXN Champ Brie Oakley and Mt. SAC 3200m Champ Lauren Gregory. Maybe even more impressive is that Halladay's run is that her five second PR of 4:41.80 gives her the US #1 mark on the year and also breaks the old freshman national class record of 4:42.0 that was set in 1973 by Mary Decker.
