Top Indoor Track & Field Returnees By State For Upcoming 2016-2017 Season

Two of the nation's top middle distance runners are found in Virginia between Kate Murphy (4:39 mile/2:45 1000) of Lake Braddock and Rachel McArthur (4:45 mile/2:06 800) of Patriot. Murphy won the USATF Junior Nationals 3K title in June, while McArthur was 3rd in the 1500 meter finals.
