Jurnee Woodward of Vacaville, Calif. signed with Louisiana State University this weekend. She owns the fastest 300m hurdle time in the Class of 2017 (40.62) and ranks No. 4 in the 400m hurdles (59.23) and No. 6 in the 100m hurdles (13.52).
She is the defending CIF state champion in the 300m hurdles and was runner-up as a sophomore. In 2014, the then-freshman was part of the Vacaville High School quarter that set the national high school record in the shuttle hurdle relay at 57.17. Western Branch High School in Virginia has since rewritten that record to 55.36.
