What would happen if each state had decided to make all-star relays? We took the top four 800m and Miles times in each state to create all-state 4x800 teams and 4xMile teams.
In the 4x800m, Team Virginia own a time 7:17.84, which would be just behind Penn State's winning 4x800 at Penn Relays that featured 3 All-Americans. Team Virginia features Trevor Whiteside (U.S. #51), Ohio State Commit Alex Lomong (U.S. #5), Adidas Professional Drew Hunter (U.S. #4) and Brandon McGorty (U.S. #3). All four of Team Virginia's legs' times are from the 2016 Dogwood Classic, they have the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 6th place finishers. Also, the top-11 states would break the national record of 7:28.75.
