Drew Hunter--the nation's top male distance runner--announced on Thursday night that he will run for the University of Oregon next year. Hunter is ranked No. 1 in the Saucony Flo50 cross country rankings, and ran 8:42 to beat Grant Fisher in an epic two mile at Brooks PR last spring. The Loudon Valley (VA) senior will compete tomorrow at the Virginia cross country state meet, where he's going for his third straight state championship.
