-- Leesville Girls XC (@LRHSGirlsXC) August 30, 2015Nevada Mareno clocked her first sub-18 minute 5k on Saturday night with a Leesville Road school record effort of 17:53. The national indoor mile champion blitzed the field, finishing 1:18 ahead of runner-up Kayla Holder (19:11) of Wake Forest.
The win cemented the team title for the Pride, who placed their top five scorers in the top seven overall and all ran 20:06 or faster.
