MileSplit All-American Team - Girls Pole Vault Presented by New Balance

The Weeks sisters, Tori and Lexi, battled it out all year a top the rankings in the pole vault.

1. Lexi Weeks (Cabot, AR - Sr.) - The U.S. No. 1 pole vaulter with her recent 14-7.50 national outdoor record breaking yesterday on July 4th also took home the Arkansas state title and took first at the Arkansas Meet of Champions. However, she would finish second behind her sister Tori at New Balance Nationals and at the Great Southwest Classic.

2. Tori Weeks (Cabot, AR - Sr.) - Weeks finished off the season ranked U.S. No. 2 with her 14-1 mark just behind her twin sister Lexi. Tori also finished second to Lexi at the Arkansas 7A state meet and at the Arkansas Meet of Champions. However, Tori took to victory over her sister at New Balance Nationals Outdoors and the Great Southwest Classic. In June, Tori also broke Lexi's indoor Natonal High School Record with her clearance of 14-4.

3. Kristen Denk (North Royalton, OH - Sr.) - The OHSAA state champ finished fourth at New Balance Nationals Outdoors and second at USATF Jr. Nationals, earning her a spot on the U.S. Pan Am team. She finished off the year ranked U.S. No. 8 with her 13-6 clearance at the her state meet.

4. Mackenzie Shell (Port Huron Northern, MI - Sr.) - Shell captured her second consecutive MHSAA state title in the pole vault this year. She also finished third at New Balance Nationals Outdoors, sixth at the USATF Jr. Nationals, and finished off the year ranked U.S. No. 12 with her clearance of 13-5.

5. Kaitlyn Merritt (Santa Margarita Catholic, CA - Sr.) - The U.S. No. 4 vaulter took first at the California state meet, first at the Arcadia Invitational with her seasons best 13-7, and eighth at the USATF Jr. Nationals.

6. Meagan Gray (Hays Buda, TX - So.) - The U.S. No. 3 vaulter took home the Texas state title this year. Gray also went on to take third at the Texas Relays and first at the USATF South JO Championships. She set her PR of 13-9 at her district meet.

7. Margaret Ollinger (McGill-Toolen Catholic, AL - Jr.) - Ollinger won her third consecutive AHSAA state title in the pole vault this year and went on to finish fifth at New Balance Nationals Outdoors. She finished off the year at U.S. No. 7 with her PR of 13-6.25

8. Carson Dingler (First Presbyterian, GA - So.) - Dingler defended her Georgia state title in the pole vault to cap off her season where she finished U.S. No. 8 with her 13-6 clearance. She finished third at the Golden South Classic and took first at the USATF World Youth Trials.
