Top 15 Boys Performers Of New Balance Nationals

7. Jaron Brooks (KY) - Boys High Jump Champion

The national high jump champion from indoors, Jaron Brooks, only a junior from Kentucky cleared a new personal best height of 7'1.50" to claim the outdoor title as well. He cleared it on his first attempt at the height to move himself up to a US #2 ranking in the event.

Brooks had no misses in the heights prior and gave three good attempts next at 7'2.25" before settling for his second national title at 7'1.50". From Henry Clay High School in Lexington, Brooks has cleared over 7 feet three times over the past year and last weekend won the high jump at the Caribbean Scholastic Invite in Cuba at a clearance of 6'11.50".
