All-Americans Wanted In NB Nationals Boys Shot Put

The shot put at NBNO looks to be a match up between U.S. No. 2 Willie Morrison and U.S. No. 3 Jordan Geist. Both of these guys have broken 69' and both hold more than a four foot gap on the rest of the field. Morrison finished fourth at New Balance Indoor Nationals in February and has won every competition since. However, Geist will be looking to put the pressure on and will make this an intense contest to watch.

This predominantly senior field looks to end their high school throwing days on high notes so look for many guys going for their PR's in this one. Despite the large senior presence, Adrian Piperi joins Geist to represent the future of high school shot put as they are both only sophomores. Watch out for them over these next two years. A healthy rivalry could be brewing between them come NBNO next year.
