All-Americans Wanted In NB Nationals Girls Mile

Two years ago Ryen Frazier's older sister Wesley pulled off an incredible triple winning the mile, two mile, and 5000m at New Balance Nationals. A grueling three day challenge, this year Ryen will look to replicate the rare accomplishment as she enters the weekend slated to compete in all three events. The final of the three events, the mile is loaded with talent. New Balance Indoor 2 Mile Champ, Frazier is the obvious front runner for the event.

She will be challenged by Stephanie Jenks and Allie Schadler among others. Jenks, a perennial front runner, is looking for her first national title. She was close indoors in 2014 when she was second in the 5K. With a 4:42 Mile PR she is a force to be reckoned with. Schadler out of Arizona ran 4:43 for a full mile at the Prefontaine Classic. The Arizona D3 Champ was just three seconds back from Frazier at that meet.
