All-Americans Wanted In NB Nationals Boys Pole Vault

This field will have Deakin Volz and Brandon Bray, the top two guys in the country who are both tied for U.S. #1 with a clearance of 17-7! Volz set the National Indoor Record at the 2015 New Balance Nationals Indoor meet with a vault of 17-11.25 and he will be looking to claim the NBNO title as well.

With U.S. #3 Paulo Benavides less then a foot behind the leaders, this field is stacked! The Texas state champ vaulted a 17-6.5 to win the UIL Track and Field Championship. The senior finished runner-up at the New Balance Nationals Indoor and briefly held the national indoor record before Volz.

Another athlete to watch is Armand Duplantis, who is almost undefeated all year except for his single loss earlier this spring to Bray. The freshman vaulted a season best 17-4 to win the Louisiana District 17-18 Area Meet 4A.
