All-Americans Wanted In NB Nationals Girls 800

The race that everyone hoped to see, but will not at the New York State Meet this weekend will thankfully be seen at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor on the following weekend with the first head-to-head matchup of the girls 800 meter run between two of the nation's best in Kamryn McIntosh and Sammy Watson.

The super sophomores from New York were both New Balance Nationals Indoor champions individually and on relays this past March. McIntosh won the girls 400 national title and also ran a key leg on the Suffern DMR national champion squad, while Watson claimed the girls 800 title and anchored the Rush Henrietta Sperry SMR to a national title.

They will be competing in one of the deepest events on the track at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor with already over a dozen girls entered with season bests under 2:10.
