Perhaps Maine's greatest track and field athlete of all-time in Kate Hall finished her high school career with 25 state titles on Saturday, breaking her own state records in the long jump (20-4.75) and 100m dash (11.69).

Isaiah Harris won the 1600m, 800m and 200m at the Class A State Championship! He also anchored the winning 4x400m relay.

Boys Highlights:

  • Cheverus senior Jake Dixon not only defends his 400m state title with a personal record, but sets a new Maine State Record in 48.45! The UVA commit also took runner-up honors in the 200m after winning the indoor state meet, as Isaiah Harris wins, 22.25 to 22.41.
  • Talk about range! Senior Isaiah Harris of Lewiston won the 1600m (4:18.9), 800m (1:55) AND 200m (22.25). The Penn State commit also anchored the winning 4x400m relay and will graduate with seven state titles.
  • Daniel Guiliani did not quite match his US #4 shot put heave of 66-5, but the junior didn't need to. His throw of 62-8.25 not only won the state title, but set a new all-time Maine State Record.

Girls Highlights:

  • The prolific Kate Hall of Lake Area ends her high school career with 25 state titles and two new state records. The Iowa State recruit, a national champion and all-time performers indoors in the long jump, broke her own state records in the long jump (US #4 20-4.75) 100m (11.69), while also winning the 200m (24.82), She helped her 4x100m team run to all-state honors in 53.22.
  • Freshman Alex Hart boasted the performance of the weekend for winning team Thornton Academy, as she ran the all-time state record in the 400m (56.87) while also winning the 200m (25.95). She also scored points in the 100m and long jump.
