<p>
<span style="font-size: 14px;">The first ever MileSplit All-American Teams for this past 2014 outdoor track & field season are being released this week. The selection process included taking into consideration multiple factors but not limited to: season best performances and national rankings, consistency and body of work, finishes in major championship and post-season meets as well as a head-to-head results against other top national ranked competition in their event were all used to determine the top 8 individuals and relays to make up our All-American squads.</span></p>
The US #2 all-performer both indoors and outdoors in the triple jump, Keturah Orji of Mount Olive High School in New Jersey remained unbeaten throughout her senior year in her specialty including national titles indoor and outdoor at the New Balance Nationals along with her most recent major victory at the US Junior Nationals. The University of Georgia recruit Orji went over 44 feet three times this spring including a wind-aided mark of 44'9.25" at the Great Southwest Classic and stands a strong medal contender for the World Junior Championships next week.
The following 8 individuals have been selected to the MileSplit All-American Team in the girls triple jump from the 2014 outdoor season as they have been chosen by MileSplit as the 8 best national performers in their event from this past spring.
